“For a year on a lost LPFM radio station in Providence, we sent this signal LIVE every tuesday late night. Randomly mixed in the basement from classic vinyl dub LP’s and a pirate treasure of found sounds, we broadcast via the attic tower and recorded everything off the air. These are pirate radio dub samplers.”
Ghostarmy was performed by Dj selector Vincent Mice, Fx master/particle accelerator/synth sorcerer Patootie Lobe, and featured Taco Dub on the late mic. All made possible by the Wizard of Free Radio Providence. Performed and mixed live to the airwaves in ’02-’03. These are sample archive documents from the live event broadcasts. Maybe 100 hrs were LPFM broadcast, Over 50 hrs were cassette taped, recorded live off the air. Edited into blocks of select content from the master tapes of each 2hr show. All 8 covers were hand printed one afternoon in 2004. It was produced and given away free over a series of years.
